— Fans Can Look Forward to Three Major Event Weekends —
CRANDON, Wisconsin (January 21, 2022) — Bolstered by the vibrant growth of off-road motorsports and the cooperation of an impressive list of corporate partners, Crandon International Raceway today released official event and reservation dates for its upcoming 2022 season.
After a record-shattering year in 2021 in terms of fan attendance, racer participation and on-track competition, Crandon International Raceway has now firmly reestablished its reputation for hosting the largest short-course off-road events in the world. It’s a platform that the management group at the iconic facility plan to elevate even higher in 2022.

Following a long-held Crandon tradition, the 2022 event schedule will kick-off with the 29th annual Forest County Potawatomi Brush Run races to be held on Friday, June 24th through Sunday, June 26th, with the golden gates of Camp Crandon opening for weekend camping at noon (CST) on Thursday, June 23rd. The popular weekend will feature practice and qualifying sessions, as well as two full rounds of racing for all Pro and Sportsman categories that make up the AMSOIL Champ Off-Road series. Race fans can expect large and competitive fields of truck, buggy and UTV classes, including the spectacular Pro 4, Pro 2 and Pro-Lite trucks.
The weekend concludes on Sunday afternoon with the prestigious Crandon Forest County Potawatomi Community Cup race, an all-out competition that pits Pro 2 and Pro 4 racers on the track at the same time with a time staggered start. Last year’s Community Cup champion was Pro 2 driver Jerret Brooks, who is expected to return to defend his title in 2022.
Thanks to an expansion of its long partnership with the Forest County Potawatomi community, the family-friendly Forest County Potawatomi Forest County Festival returns July 1st through July 3rd. A truly unique Midwest celebration of America’s birthday, the Forest County Festival is open to all members of the general public and features a massive fireworks show, free carnival rides, great food, music and weekend accommodations in Camp Crandon.

In the world of motorsports, Labor Day weekend is synonymous with just one thing — the annual Polaris Crandon World Championships. This year’s 53rd running of the sport’s biggest and best event weekend returns for a four-day weekend of racing, concerts, camping and more from Thursday, September 1st through Sunday, September 4th. Crandon’s massive Camp Crandon comprised of 2,300 sites is expected to be sold-out again in 2022, with gates opening to the racers and public at 12:00 noon (CST) on Wednesday, August 31st.
A record event crowd of more than 55,000 people enjoyed more than 400 teams from across America competing in record 42 races spread over three days and nights. The massive race weekend is the largest, oldest and most prestigious short-course off-road race in the world, and includes a complete schedule of Pro and Sportman AMSOIL Champ Off-Road series racers going all-out to win both season championships and Crandon World Champion title and rings for all classes.
For the second time in Crandon history all rock racing classes of the Ultra4 series made famous at the annual King of the Hammers event in California will be competing. Every Ultra4 category will compete twice over the three day World Championship schedule, including a block of night racing Saturday evening under the lights in the Crandon Off-Road Park as part of the second annual “Rigid Rage on the Rocks.”
Capping off the weekend on Sunday, September 4th will be the 7th annual Red Bull Crandon World Cup for Pro category racers, with the sport’s best Pro drivers earning coveted Crandon World Championship titles and the biggest prize of all — the annual Red Bull Cup Challenge finale. Crandon local favorite Keegan Kincaid took home the Red Bull Cup race with his Lucas Oil-backed Pro 2 truck.
In addition to the event schedule, Crandon International today also announced weekend reservation dates for Camp Crandon. Fans can claim their favorite locations for both events beginning Monday, March 7th at 12:00pm noon (EST) via an online reservations found at www.crandonoffroad.com. Racer camping and pit reservations for both race weekends will open on Monday, March 21st at 12:00pm noon (EST).
