PIT VEHICLE REGISTRATION

Crandon International Raceway requires that all pit and other unlicensed or off-road vehicles used for Race Support maintain a valid “Pit Vehicle Sticker” displayed on the vehicle and a registration agreement on file with the Crandon International Raceway office and security. If competitors wish to use licensed or unlicensed vehicles in the pits on public race weekends, those vehicles will also require a “Pit Vehicle Sticker”. Again, these passes can be obtained after the proper paperwork is filled out online. A max of 2 Pit Vehicle passes will be allowed per driver.

THESE CAN BE OBTAINED AT THE CHAMP OFF ROAD TRAILER WHEN YOU COMPLETE YOUR ROUTINE DRIVER CHECK IN PROCEDURE.

ROAD CLOSURES & DETOURS

Official State Detour

The state-marked detour routes you on Highway 64 (north of Mountain) to Highway 55 North (Langlade). This will bring you through Mole Lake, but be prepared -this route includes many sharp curves and may not be ideal for larger haulers.

Recommended Detour

A smoother option is available using more local highways:

  • Take Highway 32 North to Wabeno
  • Just north of Wabeno, turn left onto Highway 52
  • At the second 90-degree corner, go straight onto County Hwy W
  • This will bring you out just east of Crandon on Highway 8
  • Turn left onto Highway 8, continue through town to the raceway

AVOID the local detour marked in Laona –it follows narrow town roads and poses serious challenges for haulers and trailers.

Plan your route accordingly to ensure a smooth and safe arrival.
